Jessica Kuzma, MS, RD

Jess' thesis research focused on the antinutritive proteins associated with whole grains and legumes and the body’s response to consumption of wheat containing foods.
Jess’ passion lies in research and educating others on the health and performance benefits of ancestral, pre-agricultural lifestyles. She is an evolutionary nutrition expert and has guided numerous people through the diet transformation process. Additionally, with a Masters degree in Exercise Science and a background in collegiate athletics, Jess understands the unique nutritional needs of athletes and addresses sport-specific issues.
Jess frequently lectures on the topics of health, performance, and nutrition and is skilled at relaying technical biochemical information to non-scientific audiences. Jess is thrilled to have recently joined the Seattle community after completing her dietetics training in Houston, Texas. In her free time, Jess enjoys road biking, skate skiing, CrossFitting, and visiting farmers markets.
